A unique, private Palace Tour that takes you behind closed doors that most tourists never see that I have discovered living here for a decade; intimate views and hands on experiences of the nooks and crannies of a 1, 700 year old treasure! On your discovery maybe we'll also meet some of my friends--maybe a local artist or the owner of the city's best bakery and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee at an authentic local café. Every day, minimum, 2 people. Includes professionally guided private walk, admissions to the Cathedral and Jupiter's Temple and visits to enjoy amazing home made ice cream (fig and rosemary are just the beginning!)
We'll meet at the Split Tourist Office on the waterfront Riva or where your boat comes in. Walk through and around the Palace, covering behind the scenes locales like a hidden monastery, the city's best artisan bakery, fish market up close. The People's Square (Pjaca), stop for amazing chocolate ice cream, Duje Cathedral, Peristil, zip into a gorgeously restored 7 room hotel that is right in the heart of the Palace to see how they worked with conservators to honor the past and also make the place contemporary, Jupiters Temple, the Basements, waterfront Riva, Jewish Synagogue if you wish, Grgur of Nin statue at the Golden Gate.
