Belgrade, one of the oldest cities in Europe, was for centuries a border between Islam and Christianity as well as a border between Western and Eastern Europe. During this tour you will find out more about differences between these two civilizations, so close regarding distance, yet so distant in everything else. Belgrade and Zemun are places where differences are obvious even today. During this private tour I'll do my best to give you a better understanding of the city's history, from the days of its foundation till modern times. You will visit the House of Flowers, which is the eternal home of ex-Yugoslavian president Tito. You will see for yourself disparities between the modern Zemun, once part of the mighty Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the modern Belgrade, once part of the Ottoman Empire.
