Berlin's 20th Century - Half-Day Walking Tour (3h)

Berlin is the 20th Century City: what started right here changed the whole world. World War I and World War II were conceived in Berlin. The Berlin Battle and Hitler's suicide ended the European battlefields. The Berlin Wall was the epitome of the world's division in East and West during the Cold War. The fall of the Berlin Wall brought new hope and dreams of a better world. All these topics are to be found in a square mile in Berlin's city center, and I will show them to you! With 28 years of experience, I have a story to tell on every corner. My aim is to explain this messy German history as well as possible! Famous sites right in the city center: Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Government Area with Reichstag, and the Berlin Wall. Mostly 20th-century history. Walking tour means, if needed, we use taxi or public transport.
