Suitable for first time visitors and travelers with limited time in Kyoto. During the tour we will visit four places that you can find in all Kyoto guidebooks. Golden Pavilion, a great spot for taking wonderful photos, any season, any weather, Ryoan-ji Rock Garden, perfect for a few moments of meditation. Then visit to Nijo Castle, the residence of Tokugawa Shoguns, and walk to traditional streets of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka to the Kiyomizu Temple. As it is a private tour, I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities according to your preferences. Please let me know if you should have any special requests.
During this tour we will see: Kinkaku-Ji Temple (the Golden Pavilion). Ryoan-Ji Temple ( famous for its wonderful and inspiring rock garden) Nijojo (Nijo Castle), Shogun's residence Kiyomizu Temple (with a walk through old streets of Ninen and Sannen zaka) Each place has very specific atmosphere and has something different to offer. There is much more to see in Kyoto and visiting those places will make you feel like you want to come back to Kyoto again. And if you want I am happy to customize the tour for you.
