After picking you up in Basel, well discover what this important city sat on the Franco- German border has to offer including the famous Old Town and the Rathaus, the Munster, the Spalentor city gate and the best preserved roman ruins at Augusta Raurica. We'll drive past past and alongside Thun and Thunersee before landing in Interlaken to take a stroll along Hoheweg and taking in the views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The town makes a terrific base for exploring the Bernese Oberland and we'll find your accommodation here. A tasty smorgasbord of natural attractions lies ahead for the couple of days, including the spectacular Aare and Rosenlaui gorges, the picturesque villages and Brienz and Isenfluh, the stunning waterfalls of the Trummelbach, Giessbach and Staubbach in Lauterbrunnen valley. After this, on route back to Basel, we'll have an afternoon in the capital to explore the picture postcard old town, the Bear enclosure and the Zytclogge before continuing onto Basel.
