A relaxed evening walk through the unique alleyways of the Castle and the Old market. Feel like you travel in the past as you will witness different historic periods of Naxos. From the Venetian era and its Castle (one of the few Castles saved in Greece from this Historic period) back to ancient times and the unfinished Temple of Apollo (Portara). Pass by buildings with significant roles in island's history (ruins of Sanudo tower) and listen to stories of the past. Let yourself wander inside the labyrinthine alleys of the castle and old market and explore bars, cafes, taverns and other shops full of souvenirs and local products.
