This walking tour includes the general history of the city and the visit to the Diocletian's Palace and all its hidden treasures! Split has more than 1700 years of history and it's a unique example in the whole world of a living, breathing city that grew inside of an ancient roman palace! It is an open space museum where you don't need a ticket to enter! I was born in Split, I have spent more than 20 years living in its city centre and I am very passionate about sharing all its wonders! Whatever you're looking for, I'll be happy to point you in the right direction, helping you choose great spots to eat, drink and make amazing experiences!
This is an immersive walking tour around beautiful city of Split and it lasts 2, 5 hours. First we'll visit the subterranean part of the palace and then we'll stroll through medieval city that was built inside the ancient palace. Some of the highlights that we will see: - Riva promenade (waterfront) - Substructures of Diocletian's palace (cellars) - ADMISSION TICKETS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE - Peristyle square - Vestibule - Golden gate of Diocletian's palace - Gregory of Nin statue - People's square - Pjaca - Fruit square A short break is possible whenever needed.
