Come with me as we explore the beautiful English countryside. Let's journey back 5, 000 years to see what has been left by those who went before us with a visit to the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Then will we take a short drive to the City of Bath. Stonehenge is one of the most mysterious monuments on the planet, one of those places that you will never really appreciate until your standing in front of it. Let me take you on a private guided tour of the site where I will be able to give you an understanding of what has been found and what theories have been put forward to who built Stonehenge and why it is exactly where it is. While in Bath we will take in the picturesque architecture which always makes for a great backdrop to any family vacation photo. We will have the opportunity to go inside the Bath Abbey which is on the site of where the 'First English King' had his coronation in 973 and also venture into The Roman Baths next door to the Abbey. I personally love this tour,
-I will pick you up from your destination, whether that be Seaport, Airport or any hotel in the south of England. -Pick up time will vary depending on start destination but we will be at Stonehenge for mid-morning. After spending a couple of hours at this amazing site we will head for The City of Bath. -We will have an opportunity to stop for lunch on route to Bath or at one of the many great places to eat in the city. -English Heritage who run the ancient site of Stonehenge have great facilities in place, we will take a free bus ride to where the Stone circle is, here we will be on our own time frame to walk around, explore and take as many pictures as we want in an un-crowded atmosphere. I will be able to fill you in on my passionate knowledge of this amazing site. The Tour is 10 hrs. but could extend to 12 hrs. due to traffic of weather. After our full day together I will bring you back so you can carry on with your vacation!
