As an artist trained in the techniques of the old masters (including 3 years as copy artist in the Louvre) I have in-depth knowledge of the methods used to create the masterpieces that await you in this most fabulous of museums. But the Louvre also tells a great story… every piece on show has been carefully curated to unveil the evolution of Western civilisation through art. We will follow its trail from the beginning with Classical Antiquity, then continue through the Italian renaissance, understand a little why Mona Lisa casts such a spell, then discover how France became world leader in art. Yes, we will see the famous highlights, but also I will share with you new ways of looking at art. Take away lasting knowledge with your memories! PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRANCE TICKETS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
