It's very unique to see in Warsaw a palace which survived not only WWII, but all wars since 17th c. , when it was built for internationally known king Jan III Sobieski, who defeated Turks in famous relief of Vienna. In baroque interiors of the palace, called Polish Versailles, you'll see the royal chamber from 17th c. , plus the collection of paintings and objects of art collected by consecutive owners. Outside, you'll see the walls of the the edifice decorated with illustrations to poems by Ovid and Virgil. It will be our creme-de-la-creme, after also tasty morning city tour, where you can admire palaces and pavilions, drive along Royal Route, walk in the Old Town - a site on the UNESCO cultural heritage list - see the houses where M-me Curie was born and where Chopin lived. Yummy lunch in one of charming cafes in Old Town will leave you with the apetite for some cultural dainties - time to drive to the suburbs to visit Wilanów Palace and surrounding gardens in all styles.
- Meeting you at your hotel. - Drive along historical part of the city: Royal Route towards Lazienki Park. - Stop at the monument to Frederic Chopin and former White House from XVIII c. ; excellent place for pictures; - Drive to the gate leading to Lazienki Park where we stroll to see summer residence of our last king (picturesque Palace on Water) and other palaces and pavilions; - Drive to the former Jewish ghetto quarter with its memorials and Polin, the Museum of Polish Jews. - Drive to Old Town, seeing on the way Warsaw University, Great Theatre, Unknown Soldier's Tomb, where changing the guards takes place every hour; - Strolling in Old Town where you can stop for lunch. - Drive to Wilanow to visit interior of the Palace and the garden. On the way across the Vistula River we can see National Stadium at Prague site. - Back to the hotel. On request I can customize the tour or change the order of visiting places.

Car and walking. I will take you to all mentioned places by my car, Nissan Qashqai, comfortable, air-conditioned crossover. Where there is no access to cars, like parks or Old Town, we will stroll.
